Manufacturing – Often we confuse experience with repeated skills. A welding operator can easily become complacent in their work in manufacturing because of the repetitiveness of the work environment. Unfortunately, often new hires who have some experience are assumed to have solid welding skills. More often than not, training is necessary to be certain these new hires understand quality expectations and are on-board with proven company welding procedures. An understanding of welding standards, weld size production and self-inspection are also important aspects of new hire training. Pre-employment training is also available to enable new hires to hit the ground running from day one!
